Meet our Team

Our Certified Yoga TEACHERS

Our team of teachers are all 200 hour certified with Yoga Alliance, and many have gone on to enhance their education with additional certifications in more specific areas of interest. We believe on-going education is important to stay relevant in the industry, plus it keeps our programs fresh for our students!

Carole McKeon

Carole grew up in State College PA and is the creator of True North Fitness Consulting LLC. She is the Director and Owner of Verge Yoga and holds her E-RYT 500 hour certification with Yoga Alliance. She is also certified in Sound Healing and Prenatal Yoga, and she is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Carole is a Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Carole is the creator of True North Fitness Consulting LLC and is the Director and Owner of Verge Yoga. She holds her E-RYT 500 hour certification with Yoga Alliance, Level 1 Sound Healing and Prenatal Yoga and Pilates. She is also a Yoga Alliance Certified Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) and a Silver Teacher for Inside Flow. Carole has a B.S. Degree from Penn State University and has extensive experience in commercial health clubs and corporate fitness management. She has been teaching both group and private fitness sessions since college and has been leading yoga since 1997. Carole lived in the Chicago area for 20 years and relocated with her family to Wayne PA in 2013. She has been a student of Verge since the day she arrived in town, and began teaching at Verge in the spring of 2018. She bought the studio in October 2021 and is the Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program. Outside of Verge, Carole teaches Yoga for Athletes at several local high schools and is currently working with Radnor High School to provide yoga as part of their physical education curriculum.

Andrea Cooper

Andrea grew up in Rosemont PA and has a long history with Verge. She actually attended the very first Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program at the studio in 2005 to earn her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance. Andrea is currently working on an additional 300 hours to earn her 500 hour certification.

Andrea grew up in Rosemont PA and now currently lives in Wayne. She took her first yoga class as a high school student and fell into a consistent practice while she was at the College of Charleston. It was during this time that she knew she wanted to be a teacher and share her love of yoga with others. Andrea has a long history with Verge and actually attended the very first Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) program at the studio in 2005 to earn her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance. She has been teaching in the area ever since. In addition to yoga, Andrea holds certification in Thai Yoga Massage, Reiki Level 1, and is in the process of training for a 300 hour certification with the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts.

Colleen Sposato

Colleen grew up in the Philadelphia area and has been practicing yoga since the early 2000’s. She obtained her RYT 200 hour teaching certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2018 and her 300 hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training certification through the Kripalu Center. Colleen holds certification in Yogastrology ™ and is a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner. She is currently in her clinical training to become a Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor.

Colleen grew up in the Philadelphia area and has been a resident in Montgomery/ Delaware county since the early 1990’s. She has been practicing yoga since the early 2000’s and obtained her RYT 200 hour teaching certification from Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2018. In addition, Colleen is a Certified Yogastrologer® since 2019, a Level 1 Certified Wellness Astrologer since 2020 and a Level 2 certified Reiki Instructor. Colleen is also a 500 hour Certified Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher since November 2023.

Donna Anfuso

Donna received her RYT 200 hour yoga certification with Yoga Alliance in 2005 from Bright Spirit Yoga located in Hoboken NJ as well as her Prenatal Yoga Certification through Yoga Works in New York City. Donna is the Lead Teacher for our popular Mat Pilates classes at Verge and is certified in Advanced Mat, Reformer, Cadillac Reformer and Small Pilates equipment.

Donna received her RYT 200 hour yoga certification with Yoga Alliance in 2005 from Bright Spirit yoga located in Hoboken NJ as well as her prenatal yoga certification through Yoga Works in New York City. She moved from Vermont to Wayne PA in 2019. After many years of teaching and training yoga teachers, Donna received her Pilates certification in 2019 from Body Precision in Bryn Mawr PA. Donna is certified in Advanced Mat, Reformer, Cadillac Reformer and Small Pilates equipment. She enjoys teaching both her private clients and her group classes with a fun light hearted spirit with added challenges. One thing Donna is quick to add to all her group classes is to “have fun, smile and don’t forget to breath!”

Gil Stevens

Gil grew up in Wayne PA and finished his RYT 200 certification training at Verge in 2010. As well, he received a certification in Mindfulness Meditation in 2015 and his Level 2 Attunement as a Reiki Practitioner in 2020. Gil teaches weekly yoga classes at Verge as well as meditation.

Gil grew up in Wayne, PA, and finished his RYT 200 certification training at Verge in 2010. As well, he received a certification in Mindfulness Meditation in 2015 and his Level 2 Attunement as a Reiki practitioner in 2020. At Verge, Gil teaches Stability, a safe yet invigorating style of hatha yoga that incorporates body awareness and mindfulness training to bring a rich and satisfying feel to all of his classes.

Janine Greenwood

Janine has strong ties to Philadelphia as she was born in Lansdale PA and grew up in the Blue Bell area. She started practicing Astanga yoga in 2003 and received her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2014. Janine runs our Yoga Starter Programs and is a Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Janine started practicing yoga in 2003 in the Ashtanga style, and as her passion for yoga grew, she studied various other traditions including mindfulness, stress management and Reiki. She received her RYT 200 hour certification at Verge in 2014 and began teaching at Villanova University, BRV Yoga and the Phoenixville Recreation Center. Janine has been involved with Mindfulness Through Movement since 2017, a local program that provides yoga for inner-city schools in the Philadelphia area. Each summer, Janine teaches classes and conducts private lessons at the Brant Beach Yacht Club on Long Beach Island NJ. She has been teaching at Verge since 2014 and is a Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program. She received her E-RYT 500 hour certification with Yoga Alliance in September 2024. Janine also leads our Yoga Starter Programs at the studio and is known for teaching with laugher and enthusiasm.

Jasmine Claiborne

Originally from the sunshine state of Florida, Jasmine relocated with her family to the Philadelphia area in 2021. She was drawn to the practice of yoga as a way to explore the connection of body, mind and spirit and completed her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2023. Jasmine is a Registered Nurse and also holds a Master's Degree in Public Health. Off the mat, she works as an oncology nurse at Penn Medicine.

Jen Hilbert

Jen grew up in Bucks County and received her B.S. Degree from University of Pittsburgh. She continued her education in London where she received her Masters Degree. Jen is a Certified Yoga Therapist and runs a private practice. She is a Facilitator for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program and leads all Yoga Anatomy and Physiology sessions.

Jen has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for over 20 years. She completed her 200-hour training at YogaLife Institute in 2010 and then continued in their Yoga Therapy program. She received her 800 Hour Yoga Therapy Certification with C-IAYT at YogaLife and has been teaching the anatomy and physiology component of the program since 2012. Jen is a published author and wrote “The Yoga Life, applying comprehensive yoga therapy to all areas of your life” She has a Master’s degree in Neuroscience with a concentration in Immunology. Jen has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years performing research in the lab, clinical research, and consulting. She is a Facilitator for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program and leads all Yoga Anatomy and Physiology sessions. Jen loves combining her scientific background with her yoga teachings, bringing what she sees in the current research into the yoga studio.

Karen Wilder

Karen is originally from Washington DC and was a student of yoga and meditation for many years. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Verge in 2018 to earn her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance and went on to receive her certification to specialize in Yin Yoga. Karen also holds a Masters in Counseling and is a Level 2 Attunement Reiki practitioner.

Karen is originally from Washington, DC and has lived in Wayne since 2000. She is a full-time Realtor with BHHS Fox and Roach and enjoys teaching yoga in her free time. Karen was a student of yoga and meditation for many years and completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Verge in 2018 to earn her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance. Following her initial certification, she went on to specialize and received her certification to teach Yin Yoga in 2018. Karen also holds a Masters in Counseling and is a Level 2 Attunement Reiki practitioner. Karen strives to weave the enriching benefits of the physical practice of yoga with true body awareness and mindful movement in each of her classes.

Kat McKeon

Kat is originally from Chicago and moved with her family to Wayne PA in 2013. She completed her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2021 and leads classes at Verge when she is in town. Kat enjoys teaching to young adults and is very involved in Mindfulness Through Movement which offers yoga to underprivileged schools in the Philadelphia area.

Kat is originally from Chicago and moved with her family to Wayne in 2013. She attended Penn State University, graduated with a degree in Marketing and currently works for Free People as a Senior Web Producer. Kat completed her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2021 and has been teaching ever since. As a competitive gymnast for 13 years growing up in the midwest, Kat learned early on how to move her body through space with alignment, balance and grace. She carries that with her as she teaches yoga and creates a positive, safe space that allows students to open their minds and move their bodies in ways that feel good to them. Kat enjoys teaching to young adults and is very involved in Mindfulness Through Movement which offers yoga to underprivileged schools in the Philadelphia area.

Kate Barry

Kristin Page

Kristin was born and raised in Wayne PA and has been practicing yoga since the early 1990’s. She attended her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2009 and went on to earn her RYT 500 certification with Dig Yoga and Shiva Rae. In addition to teaching yoga at Verge, Kristin leads Meditation Programs throughout the year and is a Lead Trainer in the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Kristin was born and raised in Wayne and has been practicing yoga since the early 1990’s. She attended her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2009 and went on to earn her RYT 500 certification with Dig Yoga and Shiva Rae. She also holds a 900 hour certification in Meditation Training from ClearLight Meditation Institute. In addition to teaching multiple yoga classes at Verge, Kristin leads our popular Meditation Program throughout the year. Kristin has a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and has her own private counseling practice in Wayne. She weaves together the clinical with the holistic qualities of yoga and meditation. As well, she enjoys working with teenagers and young adults and leads yoga for various high school sports teams. Kristin has been teaching at Verge on and off since 2010 and is a Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Kristine Cox

Kristine grew up in the small town of Lebanon PA and from there became a proud Penn State Nittany Lion. A graduate of the 2012 Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program, Kristine earned her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance.

Kristine grew up in the small town of Lebanon, PA and from there became a proud Penn State Nittany Lion! She has lived in Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York City before settling into Radnor in 2003. A graduate of the 2012 Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program, Kristine earned her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance. She is passionate about teaching and helping each student find the sweet spot in his or her own practice. Kristine believes that Verge Yoga has helped her to slow down, get quiet and learn to live in the moment rather than always looking ahead.

Linda Schellenger

Linda was born and raised in Malvern PA. She holds a RYT 500 hour certification with Yoga Alliance and is a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Linda is a Certified Bikram Teacher and a Lead Trainer in the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

She began practicing yoga in 2004 and completed her 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge. She went on to earn her RYT 500 Hour Teaching Certification with Yoga Alliance through a five week intensive Bikram training program in Thailand. Linda has been teaching at Verge since 2011 and is a Lead Trainer for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program. Linda retired from the corporate world in 2017 and now enjoys time with her family, yoga and traveling.

Liz Seaden

Liz grew up in Wayne and attended Temple University. She earned her post-graduate degree in Education while living in England for many years. It was there that she found her love for yoga. After moving back to the States, she received her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2014. Liz is a Facilitator in the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Liz moved to Wayne as a teenager and attended local Conestoga High School. Soon after graduating from Temple University, Liz moved to England to earn her post-graduate degree in Education. While in the UK, she discovered yoga and has been practicing ever since. Liz returned to the area in 2011 and received her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2014. She also holds certifications in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens. Liz enjoys teaching to young adults and is very involved in Mindfulness Through Movement which offers yoga to underprivileged schools in the Philadelphia area. In addition to teaching yoga, she also has multiple private training clients at the studio. Liz has been teaching at Verge since 2015 and is a Facilitator for the Verge Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program.

Lou Harmelin

Lou was born in Haverford PA and grew up in North Miami Beach FL where he attended the University of Miami. He completed his RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2019 and began teaching at Verge the day after he graduated the program!

Lou was born in Haverford, PA and grew up in North Miami Beach, FL where he attended the University of Miami. Lou has a background in advertising and currently works for Red Lion Home Care. He completed his RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2019 and began teaching at Verge the day after he graduated the program! Oustide of yoga, Lou enjoys spending time with his kids and taking trips to the Jersey and Florida beaches. He believes you don't have to be flexible to do yoga. You just have to be willing to shake the dust off and see what happens.

Michelle Flynn

Michelle was born and raised in Havertown PA and has been practicing yoga since the late 1990’s. She completed her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2018 and is the Lead Teacher for our Yoga Basics Classes.

Michelle is also certified in Trauma Informed Yoga through the Transformation Yoga Project, Yin Yoga and is a Reiki Level 1 practitioner. Michelle heads up our popular Yoga Basics program (formerly Prime) and likes to keep yoga joyful and light. She truly believe that yoga is accessible for every body.

Moira Sullivan

Moira grew up in Havertown PA and holds her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance from Verge in 2021. She is a former college athlete and enjoys the strong mind/body connection that yoga can provide her students.

Moira is originally from central PA and currently lives in Wayne. She is the Director of enterprise software sales for a SaaS company called ServiceNow. Moira was a Division I field hockey player in college and has always embraced the mind/body connection. She discovered yoga in the early 2000’s after completing the NYC marathon. Having to deal with extensive injuries as a result of intense physical training for the event, she turned to yoga to rehab her body. Moira holds her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance from Verge in 2021. She began teaching at Verge shortly after the program ended. Moira enjoys holding space for her students to connect breath with movement while building strength and flexibility. She is most passionate about the practice and benefit of mindfulness training. ‍

Renee Hollander

Renee is the Head Pro at Bounce Pickleball Club in Malvern and is sponsored by diNGKSports. She completed her RYT 200 hour certification with Yoga Alliance at Verge in 2014. Renee has extensive experience in functional movement training and holds multiple certifications with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) including Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Stretching and Flexibility Specialist.

Sheryl Parente

Sheryl grew up outside of Detroit MI and has been practicing yoga since the late 1990’s. She earned her RYT 200 Hour Certification with Yoga Alliance in 2020 from Anjali Power Yoga (Baptiste Affiliate) in Westmont NJ and began teaching at Verge in October 2022. Sheryl is also a Chopra Certified Meditation and Ayurveda Instructor, and runs workshops on Ayurveda Health at Verge.

Sheryl grew up outside of Detroit, MI and has been practicing yoga since the late 1990’s. She earned her RYT 200 Hour Certification with Yoga Alliance in 2020 from Anjali Power Yoga (Baptiste Affiliate) in Westmont NJ and began teaching at Verge in October 2022. Sheryl loves the committed, welcoming community at Verge and enjoys weaving components of her Baptiste yoga training into her classes in a way that promotes power, vitality and freedom for each student, at every level. Curious about how meditation could enhance both her life and her yoga practice, Sheryl studied under Deepak Chopra and became a Certified Meditation Teacher in September 2022. Sheryl believe that yoga and meditation don't make her life better, they make her better at life!
